A woman who alleges that an Uber driver raped her said he only stopped after she said she had HIV, according to an Independent report published Wednesday.

During the criminal trial in a London courthouse, prosecution said the driver, Suleiman Adbirizak, traveled to a dead end, parked his car, climbed into the back seat, and placed his genitals in her mouth. She explained that she had fallen asleep because she was not feeling well.

“He said, ‘I’ll only drive you if you suck my dick,'” Sarah Morris, prosecuting attorney said, according to The Independent. “She told him a lie, she told him she had HIV to keep him away from her.” (RELATED: Report: Uber Executives Analyzed A Rape Victim’s Medical Records Over Suspicions)

The tactic apparently worked, as the victim said the driver immediately stopped and subsequently attempted to cleanse himself.

“He got a squash bottle from his car and started washing his mouth and penis because he thought he was contaminated,” the victim said, according to The Independent. “I know he was freaked out. I said ‘I’ll walk you through it, I have had it for five years, don’t worry about it.'”

An Uber spokeswoman told The Daily Caller News Foundation that they find such alleged behavior “appalling.” (RELATED: Irate Passenger Threatens To File Fake Rape Accusations Against Uber Driver [VIDEO])

“Our thoughts are with the victim,” the spokeswoman continued. “We immediately prevented this driver from using the Uber app and supported the police with their investigation.”
