The New York Yankees have been in Detroit for a three game series against the Tigers this week and today was rough. It was the final game in the series, and if you are having a quiet Thursday this might make it a little more exciting.

Tommy Kahnle was ejected for hitting Miguel Cabrera with a pitch, then Cabrera and the Yankees catcher Romine began to exchange words. Joe Giardi, Yankees manager came out of the dugout to argue about the hit and was thrown out of the game. The next time people looked at their screen, the benches had cleared.

Apparently the pitch from Kahnle was payback for Gary Sanchez getting hit by a pitch earlier in the game. In the seventh inning, it all happened again. James McCann was hit in the head with a 98mph fast-ball thrown by Dellin Betances. Betances and bench coach Rob Thompson were thrown out of the game and benches cleared again.
