Michael Phelps and his wife Nicole just announced they are expecting again. They each announced the news on their respective Instagram accounts Tuesday afternoon.
Phelps posted this photo of his wife holding their son Boomer.
Boomer was born just a few months before Michael competed in the Rio Olympics. Boomer has his own Instagram as well where this photo was posted to his account. Michael told People, “Nicole has recently brought up that she would like a girl! We definitely want more kids, it just depends on when.”
Boomer looks like he can’t wait to have a new sibling to play with.
Michael and Nicole secretly got married before the Summer Olympics last year in June and had a larger ceremony in October.
Michael told People about his hopes to have more kids one day. “We’re going through life everyday happy and blessed with what we have. But I hope to have more kids in the future.”
