Tiger Woods is back on the golf course, or the pitching range at least.

The 41-year-old golfer announced his return to the golf course on Thursday with a video that he shared on Twitter in which the 14-time major champion can be seen pitching onto the green.

“Dr. gave me the ok to start pitching,” Woods captioned the slow-motion video.

Woods has been dealing with back problems for years and has been taking a break from golf since having his fourth surgery earlier this year. (RELATED: Tiger Woods DUI Arrest Video Released And It’s Worse Than We Thought)

Aside from his medical issues Woods has experienced some other troubles during his time away from the game.

Earlier this summer Woods was arrested for driving under the influence. Although he hadn’t been drinking, Woods had ingested a handful of prescription pills earlier that night that he clearly shouldn’t have been driving on. Then just last week, nude photos of Woods and ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn surfaced online.

Tiger’s time away from golf hasn’t treated him well, so hopefully he’ll be back in the full swing of things sometime soon.
