Like a crazy person, this is how the highly rational Whoopi Goldberg routinely welcomes viewers to the show while members of the largely female audience boogie down to terrible house music.

On Thursday, Whoopi cried sexism after Mike Huckabee and his daughter, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, appeared on the program and then went on Fox Business Thursday and called the ladies “irrational.”

“Their hatred of Donald Trump is so irrational,” he told Fox News in what the ladies called “a rant.”

Whoopi had a different point of view: “We did rather well, yesterday,” she bragged. “We had a really discussion. We had a really good time.”

Huckabee sang a different tune.

“I didn’t go on there thinking they were going to give me warm hugs and kisses,” he said in the Fox Business clip, describing their spirit like this: “Full of anger, irrational hatred toward the President.”

Oh no he didn’t.

“We really worked hard to do a fair interview and I resent that you would do that,” Whoopi said to a round of rowdy applause. “You would never say that to Stephen Colbert. You would never say that about Noah, uh, uh, Trevor Noah. So why are we irrational? We were not irrational. We asked you questions and told you how we felt and allowed you to do the same.”

Co-host Joy Behar chimed in, saying the hatred toward Hillary Clinton and former President Obama was “hurricane level.” Behar claims she doesn’t hate Trump. “I just don’t like what she’s doing,” she said.

Co-host Jedediah Bila, a former host at Fox News and the token GOPer on the show, built up an impressive steam of anger. She said this is typical of what goes on in cable news, and unleashed a loud tirade against Huckabee.

“That doesn’t work here, Mike, because I am a conservative and I didn’t vote for Trump and I am standing for conservative principles,” she said. “…I sat right here and it’s not irrational that I opposed Donald Trump.”

Bila said Huckabee was playing to “the base.” She was particularly irritated to be lumped in with the “liberals” in the “lion’s den.” She said it’s a shame Huckabee has lost his ability to think independently.

She added, “You don’t get to pull us into media whatever. NO! NO!”

Bila stressed that there are smart people at Fox News who stand up to Trump.

“Stop calling people names!” Whoopi exclaimed, speaking directly to Huckabee. “We didn’t do that to you.”

Whoopi then told a boldface lie: She claimed she has never been irrational except when it comes to pizza (whatever that means).

“I’m just saying, man, don’t do that,” she continued. “…We respected your daughter and I’m kind of pissed off about this, Mike.”
