I hate to take credit for everything, but I’m starting to think I’ve made Arkansas Razorbacks fan woke about their coaching situation with Bret Bielema.
Arkansas fans have defended Bielema at all costs for more than four years. Despite their united front, I still constintly pointed out how horrible of a coach he was. The Razorbacks fans didn’t want to hear any of it for years, but it looks like cracks are finally starting to show.
What was once a united front now appears to be weakening more and more by the minute. Some of Arkansas’ biggest publications are now openly speculating about his future with the program after he got smacked up and down the field by TCU.
And that’s just the beginning. Finding Bielema defenders online is getting harder and harder by the day. It looks like my activity of slowly chipping away at his defenses is starting to work.
This is the moment when you start to wonder if Bret Bielema – who is in jeopardy of falling to 26-27 – will work at Arkansas.

Assuming we don’t reach 9 wins this season, Bret Bielema’s best year was 8 wins. This is his 5th year guys. Absolute best is 8 wins….

I’m starting to believe that Wisconsin has come out of the Bret Bielema split looking slightly better than Bret. #TCUvsARK

My main question is a simple one: How much responsibility do I share in Bielema’s epic fall from grace? I’d like to believe I have none, but the facts likely tell a very different story. His career at Arkansas looked very promising last season, but we all know what happened once that feud got kicked off.
It was then quickly restarted this season, and the product on the field hasn’t been good since. I’m I the main reason Bielema’s career has collapsed? I don’t know for sure, but I know plenty of people who have floated the idea.
