On Sunday, The Indianapolis Colts played the LA Rams in the season opener. The Colts suffered a pretty bad loss, and head coach Chuck Pagano wanted to forget about it as soon as possible.
The Rams beat the colts 49-6, and Pagano was in his post game press conference when he told reporters the team got their butts handed to them by the 49ers.
The weird thing about a head coach forgetting who is team just lost to is that he has spent over a week with his his team preparing to play the Rams. Preparation includes everything from going over game tape to standing on the field for three hours watching his team lose to the Rams. It is obviously not something that can be easily forgotten.
I guess if you lose that badly though, you will do whatever you can to forget that and move on to focus on next week’s game.
