Colin Kaepernick is standing with Jemele Hill after the ESPN host fired off a series of tweets in which she called Donald Trump a white supremacist Monday night.
The controversial quarterback, whose currently unemployed, voiced his support for “The Six” co-host on Tuesday night with one tweet of his own.
We are with you @jemelehill

“We are with you @jemelehill,” Kaepernick said in the tweet.
Kaepernick made no reference to Hill’s tweets specifically, but given the amount of controversy they caused, it’s probably safe to assume he was supporting those aimed at the president.
Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.

The height of white privilege is being able to ignorehis white supremacy, because it’s of no threat to you. Well, it’s a threat to me.

Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.
— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) September 11, 2017
He has surrounded himself with white supremacists — no they are not “alt right” — and you want me to believe he isn’t a white supremacist?
— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) September 11, 2017
No the media doesn’t make it a threat. It IS a threat. He has empowered white supremacists (see: Charlottesville).

ESPN released a statement Tuesday afternoon disavowing Hill’s remarks and stated that they have addressed her actions, but didn’t comment on any further disciplinary action from the network.
“The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN,” the sports network’s public relations department said in the statement. “We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate.”
