Sen. Ted Cruz said Tuesday that one of his staffers “inadvertently” liked a tweet showing incest porn and that the issue is being dealt with internally.
Twitter blew up after it was discovered that Cruz’s personal verified Twitter account had apparently “liked” a tweet with an image of incest porn.
Speaking to an NBC reporter, Cruz said the tweet was accidentally liked by one of the staffers who has access to his Twitter account and was not done maliciously.

Cruz would not say whether or not the staffer would be fired or disciplined, but did joke, “perhaps we should have done something like this during the Indiana primary.”
