Hope Hicks will officially become the White House communications director after having served as interim director since Anthony Scaramucci’s exit at the end of July.

It goes without saying, but Hicks is much easier on the eyes than her two predecessors. Hicks was a model and actress before getting involved in politics, and the career transition seems to have paid off thus far.

The 28-year-old Connecticut native was first introduced to the Trump family through Ivanka, who hired her to work in her fashion line. After building a relationship with Trump’s daughter, she earned a role on the communications team for his presidential campaign. She remained close by Trump’s side throughout his candidacy and on into the White House.

Hicks has proven herself as one of President Trump’s most trusted staffers and has earned the permanent role as White House communications director. Take a look at some of her finest photos along the way.
