Kirk Herbstreit just got into a Twitter fight with some Ohio State Recruits and could be the reason for them to change their mind on which college they will attend next year.

After the Ohio State loss last week, many people have suggested the team give a redshirt freshman Dwayne Haskins a shot. Michah Parsons, a top recruit and top recruit Jackson Carman both suggested Haskins gets the chance to play, according to the New York Post.

This is what ultimately upset Herbstreit. The ESPN analyst said of the suggestion on Twitter, “keep quiet and worry about their own teams.”

The former Ohio State quarterback tried to explain his thought process by saying, “help them avoid issues on their future team. Not to mention [it’s] not their place. Pretty sure their opinions, once they get into their future locker rooms, won’t go over real well.”

One of the recruits Tweeted this image in response to the tussle on Twitter.

It will be interesting to see what happens and what the top recruits ultimately decide.
