Superstar actor Matthew McConaughey made an appearance Saturday night during the Texas Longhorns game against the USC Trojans.

The “True Detective” actor was on the sidelines with legendary Longhorns quarterback Vince Young.

I think it’s safe to say McConaughey on the sidelines might be the coolest thing about Texas football at the current moment.

Texas football has been in a slump for awhile. They got kicked all over the field in the first week against Maryland and didn’t look like they were going to live up to the preseason hype at all.

However, I wouldn’t be too worried because McConaughey might be the smoothest man in all of Hollywood. Everything that man touches these days turns into straight gold. I think his presence on the sidelines during the big game against USC might be a sign things are finally turning around.

As he would say, you just have to keep on living.
