Kyrie Irving Doesn’t Appear To Miss LeBron James Just Yet

The feud between LeBron James and his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kyrie Irving isn’t going away anytime soon.

Irving, who was traded to Boston in the offseason, made an appearance on ESPN’s “First Take,” and it’s crystal clear these two aren’t missing each other very much. Here is the video evidence:

Boom, roasted. Look at that smug little grin on Kyrie’s face as Stephen A. presses him. “If you don’t speak to somebody, they might take it personally.” As if Kyrie hadn’t considered it.

I think I just saw Kyrie become the embodiment of that emoji face that looks to its side all shady and diabolical. That’s Kyrie right there. In the words of the late, great Notorious B.I.G., ain’t no love lost.

And for a little added zest to the situation:

“Oh, absolutely.” He says it like it just dawned on him, like that wasn’t the reason for the whole trade, like his mind hadn’t been made up since at least the 2016 season.

I’ve gotta hand it to Kyrie. I would have lost my cool long before appearing on a morning episode of “First Take.”

But he’s a sly dog, and life after Lebron is sweet. He’s like that ex that blindsides you with a breakup, moves to LA, loses all the relationship weight, stars in a toothpaste commercial, buys a Porsche, and casually dates half a dozen Victoria’s Secret Angels — all before the new year. Kyrie is winning this breakup.

And Lebron is watching rom-coms with a gallon of ice cream, calling up his friends to celebrate his totally awesome, not sad at all, single life.

Kyrie is on ESPN this morning, and LeBron provided some counter-programming with Kevin Love at UCLA
