“Morning Joe” regular Donny Deutsch said President Donald Trump is able to distract from White House policy by “dropping a turd out the window” on Twitter, Monday on MSNBC.
The panel was discussing Trump’s ability to avoid criticism by saying something salacious on social media when Deutsch took things a little too far.
“It would be interesting for you to lead tomorrow’s show with the last ten times Trump has done something normal. DACA thing, raising the debt ceiling all the things we need — and before everybody’s hair goes on fire, oh look here he is dropping a turd out the window. Got me. Got me,” Deutsch said.
The comment drew uncomfortable laughter from the rest of the panel before co-host Joe Scarborough stepped in to change the subject.
“I don’t know that I would have put it that way,” Scarborough said before moving on to MSNBC reporter Kasie Hunt.
