RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel said Monday that she is skeptical that Kid Rock is actually going to run for a Senate seat in Michigan.

Kid Rock has been repeatedly dropping hints that he might challenge Michigan Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow, but he has yet to make an official announcement. (RELATED: Kid Rock Drops Another Hint That He Will Run For Office)

“Could you see Kid Rock running for Senate?” Vince Coglianese, WMAL’s “Mornings on the Mall” co-host and editorial director at The Daily Caller, asked McDaniel.

“You know, I was at his concert on Friday in Detroit and he did give a big speech about running for Senate,” McDaniel said. “I don’t see him running for Senate — I would think I would be one of the people he would reach out to and he hasn’t done that.”

“But, you know, I think it would be fascinating,” she admitted.
