Republican Minnesota Rep. Jason Lewis slammed unlawful left-wing protesters and the Democratic politicians that enable them on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Thursday.

“These are people that don’t think the rules apply to them,” Lewis told host Tucker Carlson.

“Everybody condemns violence on the right, after Charlottesville, we all condemned that,” Lewis added. “Where are Democratic leaders condemning this dangerous movement on the Left?”

“There needs to be leadership from the Democratic aisle to say ‘you know what, enough of this,'” he continued.

“The reason so many Republicans are scaling back on town halls,” Lewis claims is because of the threat of violent protesters.

Lewis’ home was invaded by demonstrators in August by TakeAction Minnesota, a left-wing advocacy group. His district office was also targeted by the group.

While the protesters that targeted Lewis’ were peaceful, the Minnesota congressman believes left-wing protest groups are becoming increasingly violent in the era of Trump.
