Co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Mika Brzezinski took a shot at President Donald Trump on Wednesday comparing him to cartoon buffoon Homer Simpson.
After returning from commercial, “Morning Joe” ran a clip of Trump talking about possible military action in North Korea when Brzezinski said, “He’s the Homer Simpson of presidents.”
Co-host Joe Scarborough said his son had begun watching The Simpsons and wouldn’t appreciate Brzezinski insulting Homer by comparing him to Trump.
“You know Jack is actually watching the Simpsons now. I wish you would not insult Homer Simpson,” Scarborough said.
Mika apologized and said Trump acts like Homer when he tweets, offering up her best impression of the pop culture icon.
“I’m sorry but that’s what it seems like. Do’h! With his tweets.”
