A panel on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” Sunday stated that President Trump’s criticisms of San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz are the “worst toxic brew” of President Trump’s racism, incompetence, and egomania.

Karine Jean-Pierre, a Senior Adviser at MoveOn.org, said, “Just when you think the President hits rock bottom, he finds a way to take it even lower. And I think when you look at Puerto Rico, it really brings out the worst toxic brew of Donald Trump–which is the racism, incompetence, and the egomaniac that he is. We are talking about 3.4 million people who are really trying to survive and fighting for their life.”

Another guest, Michelle Bernard, called Trump’s criticisms of the terrorist-praising San Juan mayor, “just absolutely revolting,” implying that Trump has issues with “all women, but particularly women of color.”

Mayor Cruz attacked President Trump and his family Saturday, stating, “Maybe he’s used to women who have to be told what to do. That’s not who we are in San Juan.” (RELATED: San Juan Mayor ATTACKS Trump, Melania: ‘Maybe He’s Used To Women Who Have To Be Told What To Do’ [VIDEO])
