Caitlyn Jenner put President Donald Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions on blast Thursday in response to a ruling that “does not protect transgender workers from employment discrimination.”

“Today #JeffSessions said that civil rights law does not protect transgender workers from employment discrimination. This is not ok,” the 67-year-old former Olympic gold medalist wrote in a message on Instagram. She included a message along with a picture that read, “Trump administration’s latest in a string of attacks on trans people: Trans student guidance, trans military service, and now employment protections.” (RELATED: Caitlyn Jenner Puts Trump On Blast Over Military Trans Ban)

“This administration is systematically dismantling what few non-discriminations protections LGBT people have earned after fighting for decades,” Jenner added. “Jeff Sessions plus Donald Trump your actions are a disgrace.”

The comments come in response to the attorney general ruling a 1964 federal civil rights law prohibits sex discrimination based on discrimination between men and women doesn’t include gender identity. The move is a reversal of Barack Obama-era guidelines.

“Title VII’s prohibition on sex discrimination encompasses discrimination between men and women but does not encompass discrimination based on gender identity per se, including transgender status,” the memo to federal prosecutors from Sessions read. “This is a conclusion of law, not policy.”

Jenner also blasted the president after Trump announced the military trans ban and the roll back of Obama-era transgender bathroom guidelines.
