Legendary ESPN broadcaster Dick Vitale was shocked after watching videos from the Las Vegas shooting and is calling for more gun control in the wake of the tragedy.

The 78-year-old college basketball broadcaster didn’t get around to watching the videos until a few days after the horrible events that occurred in Las Vegas on Sunday, but he had a strong reaction.

“How many more Las Vegas attacks must take place b4 common sense is used that assault rifles with a bump SHOULD NOT BE SOLD,” Vitale said among a series of tweets.

“It is sickening to think u can’t go to a concert/ movie/ church/ nightclub/ school & not fear for ur life. Pls CHANGE GUN LAWS!,” he continued. “Do not allow Assault Rifles to get in the hands of killers / how many more beautiful ppl have to be slaughtered b4 something is done?”

Although Vitale’s reaction is a few days delayed, he echoes the opinions of many other celebrities who have reacted to the shooting by blaming gun laws for the horrible tragedy.
