What lasted longer? Anthony Scaramucci’s tenure as White House communications director, or the winless New York Giants’ playoff hopes?

TMZ spotted The Mooch leaving a Los Angeles restaurant, and wanted his take on the season-ending injury of Giants’ receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

“Well, I’m more disappointed about the 0-5 record, you know? I mean, it’s been a disaster this year. So, I mean, they’re done now,” the Mooch had to say about the Giants.

He also added “Giants are toast.”

When asked if his hometown Giants can get a win against the Browns, Scaramucci responded, “They’ll likely beat Cleveland, because in the NFL a broken clock is always right twice.”

Unfortunately for the Giants, the Browns aren’t on the schedule this year.

Either way, The Mooch is right about the Giants being “toast”. Not only is OBJ already ruled out for the season, so is the team’s second-best receiver, Brandon Marshall.

That means 36-year-old quarterback Eli Manning is left with an unreliable offensive line, and one of the least effective running games in the league.

Some are even suggesting that the best move would be to trade Eli Manning to the Jacksonville Jaguars for draft picks.

The New York Giants brass have some big time decisions to make as they turn their focus towards the future.
