President Donald Trump attacked ESPN and suspended host Jemele Hill in a tweet early Tuesday Morning, saying it’s no wonder the network’s ratings have “tanked.”

“With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have ‘tanked,’ in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry,” the president tweeted.

ESPN executives suspended Hill for a recent series of tweets where she attacked Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

“Jerry Jones also has created a problem for his players, specifically the black ones. If they don’t kneel, some will see them as sellouts,” Hill commented after Jones declared that any player who disrespected the flag would not play for his team.

“Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for a second violation of our social media guidelines,” ESPN officials said in a release Monday. “She previously acknowledged letting her colleagues and company down with an impulsive tweet. In the aftermath, all employees were reminded of how individual tweets may reflect negatively on ESPN and that such actions would have consequences. Hence this decision.”
