The New York City and London police departments are both reviewing crime reports to find a way to prosecute disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, the departments announced Thursday.

Weinstein has been accused by roughly 30 women — including actresses Angelina Jolie, Ashley Judd and Gwyneth Paltrow — of sexual misconduct ranging from harassment to rape over the last week, but the statute of limitations has expired on most of those alleged crimes and they can’t be prosecuted.

Both the NYPD and London police are searching through crime reports to see if anyone has accused Weinstein of a more recent crime, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez found some verification supporting her charge of sexual assault against Weinstein in 2015. With the help of police, she obtained a recording of Weinstein admitting to groping her, but NYC sex crime prosecutors declined to take up the case citing a lack of evidence.

“Why yesterday you touch my breast?” Gutierrez, then 22, asked on the recording published by the New York Post

“Oh, please, I’m sorry, just come on in. I’m used to that. Come on. Please,” Weinstein can be heard responding.

“I, like they, were very disturbed by the contents of the tape,” Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. said. “But at the end of the day we operate in a courtroom of law, not the court of public opinion. And our sex crime prosecutors made a determination that this was not going to be a provable case.”

Italian actress Asia Argento and former aspiring actress Lucia Evans also opened up about their encounters with the film executive.

“I know he has crushed a lot of people before,” Argento told The New Yorker. “That’s why this story — my case, it’s 20 years old, some of them are older–has never come out.”

Argento was only 21 years old when she went to a hotel on the French Riviera in 1997 where she thought she would be meeting Weinstein at a party, but allegedly arrived to an empty room where she found Weinstein in a bathrobe.

“He asks me to give a massage. I was like, ‘Look, man, I am no fucking fool,'” Argento recalls. “But, looking back, I am a fucking fool. And I am still trying to come to grips with what happened.”

After reluctantly giving Weinstein a massage, he allegedly lifted up her skirt, forced her legs open and performed oral sex on her. Argento claims she resisted repeatedly until she decided to fake enjoyment to get him to stop.

“It wouldn’t stop. It was a nightmare,” she said.

“I was not willing,” Argento added. “I said, ‘No, no, no.’ … It’s twisted. A big fat man wanting to eat you. It’s a scary fairy tale.”
