Fox News’ Tucker Carlson joked on Friday that Colin Kaepernick would someday likely be on the $20 bill.

WATCH:

Carlson, speaking to talk show host Ethan Bearman, asked, “So, yesterday, Jesse Jackson described Colin Kaepernick, who is like, you know, would be the richest person in most American counties, as a martyr. How can Colin — a martyr to what? How could someone as powerful, wealthy and celebrated as Colin Kaepernick be a martyr?”

Bearman answered, “Well, the martyr there is in his job. He has lost his job. He is much better than many backup quarterbacks in the NFL and no NFL owner will hire him right now.”

Bearman also tried to make a point comparing Kaepernick to someone from the Bible, to which Tucker said, “Wait, hold on. I don’t think I could bear to hear Colin Kaepernick or any professional athlete compared to a character out of the Bible. Come on now. That’s too stupid.”

At the end of the interview, Carlson sarcastically remarked, “Someday Colin Kaepernick’s going to be on the $20 bill. Hopefully I’ll be gone by then.”
