Secretary of State Rex Tillerson refused to deny for a second time Sunday that he called President Donald Trump a “moron.”

Tillerson held a press conference on Oct. 4 after an NBC report saying that he was frustrated with President Trump and called the president a “moron.”

“I’m not going to deal with petty stuff like that,” Tillerson said. His spokeswoman, Heather Nauert, would later deny that Tillerson made the remark.

The secretary of state refused on CNN’s “State of the Union” to clarify.

“I’m not going to deal with that kind of petty stuff. This is a town that seems to relish gossip, rumor, innuendo, and they feed on it,” Tillerson told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “I’m just not going to dignify the question.”

Tapper told Tillerson that not denying makes it seem as if he made the comment, and Tillerson remarked, “As I said Jake, I’m not playing. These are the games of Washington.”
