The guild’s decision comes more than a week after two bombshell reports by The New York Times and The New Yorker exposed Harvey Weinstein for allegations of sexual harassment and assault spanning over decades.

“Sexual harassment of any type is completely unacceptable. This is a systemic and pervasive problem requiring immediate industry-wide action,” the Producers Guild of America said in a statement.

Although the members of the guild voted unanimously to expel Weinstein from the organization, he will have a few weeks to respond to the vote, according to Page Six.

The Producers Guild of America is not the first group to get rid of Weinstein and it likely won’t be the last.

Several Hollywood groups have given Weinstein the boot in the wake of the countless disturbing allegations against him. The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts have both revoked Weinstein’s membership.
