It’s been over a year since the premiere of HBO’s hit show “Westworld,” and the people have waited way too long for the second season.

The sci-fi Western took the world by storm when it premiered in October 2016. I’d never seen anything like it before. It dominated the workplace conversation every single week after a new episode. I hate to brag, but I absolutely predicted one of the major moments of the season finale down to the exact details. We spent countless hours discussing what had happened.

There was no doubt that HBO had a massive hit on its hands.

However, fans are starving for new episodes, and HBO has failed to deliver so far. All that we’ve got so far to help kill our appettite for new content is a trailer for the second season. The trailer is impressive, but it’s also driving our need for the second season to unbearable levels.

You can search for hours on the internet without finding any concrete news about when season two will hit our screens. It seems like it’s primed for spring of 2018, but who knows how that will hold up.

There is no excuse for “Westworld” to be off of our televisions for an entire year, let alone more than 18 months.

We need Ed Harris on our screen as he chases down the maze and Dolores. The fans are craving to watch Maeve continue her journey to freedom. We want to embrace the chaos and anarchy we were left with at the end of the first season. We need the greatest intro in the history of television back in our lives.

HBO has created one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen, and it’s time they do the right thing. Give us season two sooner than later.
