Jerry Jones wasn’t intimated by people protesting the NFL when confronted Tuesday while at an owners meeting in New York.

The Dallas News reported the following:

Jerry and Stephen Jones are in New York still for the regularly scheduled owners meetings Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. They were not a part of the morning meeting to discuss anthem issues with players, but the owners will discuss anthem issues privately this afternoon.

While there, Jones was confronted by protesters in the hotel lobby Tuesday morning. As two Black Lives Matters protesters stopped Jones, the owner stopped, listened, smiled and moved on without comment.

WATCH:

Absolutely stone cold move from Jerry Jones. That guy doesn’t have one second of time to waste on protesters, and why would he? He’s a multibillionaire mogul who owns arguably the biggest franchise in all of pro sports.

He’s also openly come out against the national anthem protests. Did the protesters really think he was going to be down for an in-depth conversation about the NFL, civil rights, police brutality and more with a guy protesting and holding a sign? I doubt it.

Good for Jones for not taking the bait. There’s absolutely no upside to getting into an argument.
