Lana Del Rey’s famous song “Cola” is reportedly about disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Page Six broke the news that the famous singer’s song was about Weinstein, and not in a good way.

They reported in part:

“Cola” features the lyrics: “I got a taste for men who are older. It’s always been, so it’s no surprise,” and was originally followed by the line, “Harvey’s in the sky with diamonds and he’s making me crazy. All he wants to do is party with his pretty baby.”

An entertainment-industry source tells Page Six that Del Rey wrote the track after Weinstein pursued her — but “she rebuffed him, she had a boyfriend.”

But when Weinstein heard about the lyrics to the song, and his first name was included, one source said, “Harvey went bananas and insisted Del Rey change the lyrics, which she did, removing Harvey’s name, so the line now goes, “Ah he’s in the sky with diamonds and he’s making me crazy.”

Here is the song for those interested in listening, but be aware, there are some graphic lyrics.

If there’s one artist you probably don’t want to be going after, Lana Del Rey would be the name at the top of that list.

First off, I am very familiar with Lana Del Rey’s music. I’m a fan, no question about it. I once had a girlfriend (props to me) who was obsessed with her, and I started to do research into Del Rey during that time. Her whole persona is extremely dark, and it doesn’t come off as an act. It comes off as incredibly authentic. That’s the last kind of woman you want on your bad side.

She has millions of fans, a huge platform and has no problem talking about dark and demented topics.

Also, how did Harvey Weinstein honestly think he was going to abuse Lana Del Rey around 2012? She was already famous and rich. She had already made it in the music industry. He also has no reason to get outraged when she brings it up in a song. If you don’t want women singing about you being a creep then don’t do creepy things. It’s a pretty simple formula to follow.
