Music icon Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster said she was sexually assaulted by an employer while working as a teenage model, she announced on television Thursday.

Lancaster, 46, discussed her personal experience with sexual assault after getting her drink spiked while on the talk show “Loose Women,” reported the BBC.

The unnamed assaulter allegedly lured her to his house saying he would take her to an event to get more work contacts, Lancaster said, adding that she was “naive.”

“I was like, ‘Oh, someone will be interested, I might get some more work,'” said Lancaster. She drank something he gave her and “and unfortunately the next thing I knew … I found myself face down on a bed with him on top of me,” she said.

Lancaster says she “can’t remember much of what happened.”

The rock star’s wife says she was a virgin at the time of the incident and that she couldn’t tell her “mum and dad because I thought they would be saying to me, ‘What on earth were you doing going back to his house?'”

She also encouraged other sexual assault victims to come forward.
