ESPN commentator Jemele Hill claimed in an interview Saturday that she “deserved” her suspension from the network.

Hill, in an interview with TMZ Sports, said, “Here’s the reality–ESPN acted…what they felt was right. And, you know, I don’t have any argument or quibble with that. I would tell people that absolutely after my Donald Trump tweets, I deserved that suspension. I deserved it. I violated the policy.”

“I deserved that suspension. Going forward, we’ll be in a good, healthy place. It’ll be fine, and I’m looking forward to it,” she added.

However, she also insisted that despite putting ESPN in a “bad spot,” she’ll “never take back” what she said about the president.

The commentator was suspended for two weeks earlier this month after tweeting that NFL fans should boycott the advertisers of the Dallas Cowboys over their owner’s stance on kneeling during the national anthem. (RELATED: ESPN Suspends Jemele Hill For Two Weeks)
