Los Angeles rookie point guard Lonzo Ball might have a future ahead of him in the rap game if basketball doesn’t work out.

I stumbled across his rap song “Zo2” on Spotify’s viral 50 songs in the United States playlist. I didn’t even realize it was him rapping until about half way through. The guy has some legit talent on the microphone.

LISTEN:

I know plenty of people hate his father Lavar for a variety of different reasons, and I don’t blame them. However, Lonzo Ball is a generational talent. The last guy to enter the league with the same level of expectations was LeBron James. Obviously James is way more talented, and made a more immediate impact. Ball’s ability to move the needle is still incredibly impressive.

I have no idea if he will succeed or not, but it’s going to be incredibly fun to watch.
