British singer Sam Smith is now telling people he is gender nonconforming because he likes to wear dresses and makeup. However, there is much more to being a woman than just wearing feminine clothing — like, for example, having two X chromosomes.
“That’s basic science, people,” cohost Amber Athey said. “They talk about the GOP being anti-science?”
“Textbook biology,” cohost Julia Nista affirmed.
Double Take also gives a shoutout to country music singer Katie Armiger who risked her career to speak out against sexual harassment and assault that she faced as early as age 15. Armiger was blacklisted from the industry for being a “liability” but refused to be a party to harassment and even filed a lawsuit against her record label for telling her to “sex up” her image to sell more records.
