Cable network Ovation chopped disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein from its board of directors Tuesday following his sexual assault and harassment allegations.

Investors voted to sever ties with Weinstein by eliminating his board seat from the independent arts-focused cable network, reported The Wrap.

“Due to recent events, Ovation’s investors have elected to eliminate the board seat once held by Harvey Weinstein and The Weinstein Company,” said Liz Janneman, executive VP of network strategy for Ovation, in a statement provided to TheWrap. “Ovation finds Mr. Weinstein’s actions reprehensible and counter to the spirit of our company’s supportive, multicultural and artistic community. We stand firmly behind this decision and will continue business as usual.”

While Weinstein owns a small stake in Ovation, he did not regularly attend board meetings nor was an active member of the network, a source told Variety.

Weinstein recently lost many prestigious awards such as the British Film Institute Fellowship award, the DuBois Medal for his commitment to African American culture, and France’s Legion of Honor.
