An off-duty New York Police Department officer had an epic meltdown when she learned that a chocolate store was closing, according to video footage.

Officer Amanda Villafane entered a Godiva chocolate store Sunday night as the store was on the verge of shutting down, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

WATCH:

Villafane, accompanied by her mother and friend Christopher Salvadore, grew upset with the employees because the door to the store was still open.

“They were told the store was closing,” Stamford Police Sgt. Brian Butler told the New York Post. “They were not happy with that answer.”

Villafane grew violent, threatening to “knock the fuck out” of one of the employees. At one point, her friend had to hold her back. The same friend, however, allegedly punched Ralph Jimenez, the teenager who filmed the exchange.

Fellow officers were called to the store to arrest Villafane who refused to cooperate and tried to fight with an officer. They had to take her to the ground to handcuff her, Butler said.

The NYPD suspended Villafane without pay; she also faces charges of criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct and interfering with police.
