Jenna Bush Hager and her sister Barbara Bush said they have warned their dad, George W. Bush, not to go viral, but that he “just can’t help himself.”

The comment came during the twins appearance on “The View” Friday when they were asked if they knew what Bush said to Barack Obama during the hurricane relief concert in Texas over the weekend that made Obama grin while Bill Clinton was speaking. “Last weekend while President Clinton was speaking, your dad was standing behind him and whispered something that made President Obama lose it,” Sarah Haines said.

“The thing is with my dad  I’m always like, ‘Dad do not go viral.’ He’s like, ‘what does viral mean?'” Jenna explained. “I’m like, ‘for example do not put the poncho over your head.’ He just can’t help himself.”

“We know what he said,” Barbara interjected.

But no matter how hard the co-hosts tried, the sisters wouldn’t crack.

“I hate to say we know,” Jenna replied. “We know, but we can’t talk about it? We’ll tell you when we are off the air.”

“No, no, no, it’s not racy,” she added, when prodded further.

“First of all, I love that poncho moment,” Meghan McCain explained. “I don’t know, I thought it was so endearing.”

“By the way, I was like, ‘Dad you know it’s the inauguration. People will be watching you. Just don’t do anything,” Jenna responded. “And he couldn’t help himself.”

The shots of Bush struggling at President Trump’s inauguration to put on a poncho in the rain might be one of the best things on the internet.
