Illegal immigrant Jane Doe had her abortion at a Whole Woman’s Health clinic that is in total disrepair and is dirty enough to constitute a serious health hazard to the women coming for it services.

“We know quite a bit about this McAllen facility. We centered an investigation there in 2010. The results were shocking,” said Operation Rescue president, Troy Newman. “I wouldn’t take my dog to such a place,” he added.

McAllen, Texas, is the only place between Mexico City and San Antonio where women can legally get abortions, so it is not surprising to discover that the illegal immigrant Jane Doe — whom the government ruled could have an abortion last week — went to McAllen Whole Woman’s Health clinic to have her abortion.

The McAllen clinic is one of the many Whole Woman’s Health clinics across the country that continue to violate the law and jeopardize the health and lives of women by failing to keep clinics clean and train staff adequately, according to inspection reports between 2011 and 2017, the Free Beacon reported. Whole Woman’s Health Austin and McAllen clinics were also fined over $83,000 in 2011 for illegally dumping aborted baby parts in the trash.

A 2016 study found that the McAllen clinic had stains, cracks in exam tables and holes in the flooring, and the 2017 report found missing stocks of fentanyl in addition. (Related: Abortion Clinics Are Crawling With Dirty Health Violations, Report Finds).

“Anyone who cares for women’s health and safety should want abortion facilities to be frequently inspected, no matter what their position is on abortion. Because this is a health and safety issue, and just because it has to do with a hot button topic, does not mean that the abortion industry should get a free pass,” Arina Grossu, Center for Human Dignity Director at the Family Research Council, told the Free Beacon.

“I feel good because I want to do it,” Jane Doe said after a U.S. federal appeals court ruled that she could get an abortion, unaware that she would be having her abortion at a less than sanitary facility. (Related: JANE DOE: ‘I FEEL GOOD’ About Decision To Get Abortion).

The McAllen clinic is not unused to receiving patients from Mexico, considering abortion is legal only in Mexico City according to PRI News. Undocumented women seeking abortions often cross the border to go the McAllen clinic, and its location allows them to avoid the immigration checkpoints they would encounter if they traveled to San Antonio’s abortion clinic.
