Beverly Hills police are investigating “multiple complaints” against Harvey Weinstein and film director James Toback.

People reports that police confirmed the investigations Tuesday night in two news releases — identical in everything but the name of the accused.

“The Beverly Hills Police Department has recently received multiple complaints involving Harvey Weinstein. These cases are under investigation and no further information will be released at this time,” read the statement referencing he Weinstein investigation.

Toback, though lesser known than Weinstein, has an even larger roster of accusers than the disgraced producer. There are now over 300 women alleging sexual assault or harassment against the Hollywood director.

Weinstein is also under investigation by London’s Scotland Yard, which is studying 11 different claims of sexual misconduct. The growing list of accusers has fomented a financial crisis at the Weinstein Company (TWC), which is not only fending-off lawsuits but dealing with a slate of unreleased films, Vanity Fair reports. Weinstein is even suing TWC for the release of his email account with the company, something the disgraced producer says might provide “exonerating” details.

Weinstein is facing allegations from almost 60 women now, though he stands by his initial contention that “any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied.”
