President Donald Trump’s Twitter page mysteriously went blank Thursday night before quickly coming back.

On Thursday night around 7PM EST, Trump’s Twitter page appeared like this:

This is normally how an account would look if it had been deleted. However, the account was shortly back up as normal. (RELATED: Twitter Offered Kremlin-Linked Propagandists 15% Of Election Ad Revenue, Says Report)

Many have called for Trump’s Twitter account to be suspended or removed. Trump’s Twitter use has also been a longtime concern of White House staff, with many urging him to tweet less and control his tweeting habits.

The president has routinely used his account to call out political opponents and critics, and he has previously said that social media was an important factor in him winning the election.

It is not clear what caused this, but it seems that as of the publication of this article, @realDonaldTrump is safe.
