Cincinnati Bengals superstar wide receiver A.J. Green lost his mind Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and it resulted in his ejection.

Green was pushed to the ground after a the play by Jaguars defensive back Jalen Ramsey, and he didn’t take it well at all.

The Bengals receiver put Ramsey in a headlock, took him to the ground and started throwing punches. Ramsey and him were ejected moments later.

You have to be a madman to throw punches at a guy wearing a helmet. Where is the upside? The helmet is not going to even budge no matter how hard of a punch is thrown. You’re more likely to break your hand than actually do anything impactful if you’re punching a guy in the head who’s wearing a helmet.

However, Green had to do something. It sends a really bad sign if you don’t retaliate after being pushed to the ground. The defense is going to really start to think they can get away with just about anything. Can’t let that message be sent.

Hopefully it was worth the ejection.
