Videos are circulating around the internet of Penn State football coach James Franklin rushing to get his players to shake hands after a devastating loss to Michigan State.

The Nittany Lions suffered a shocking upset Saturday night against MSU, and some of Franklin’s players tried to leave the field without shaking hands. He wasn’t having any part of it.

He sprinted down the field to get his players to turn around and shake the hands of the men who had just beaten them.

This is the ultimate football guy move. You shake hands after every game. It doesn’t matter if you won by 100 or lost by 100. Players should never leave the field without looking the other players in the eyes.

Franklin absolutely made the right choice to get his players to shake hands. Lots of coaches would probably just turn away and ignore it. Good for Franklin for teaching his guys how to properly lose.
