A single family lost eight of its members in the Texas church shooting Sunday that ultimately claimed 26 lives.

Sarah Holcombe lost her mother, Karla, her father, Bryan, her pregnant sister-in-law, Chrystal, three nieces and nephews — Emily, Greg, and Meghan — her brother, Marc, and his child, Noah, according to a GoFundMe account created to help the surviving members of the Holcombe family. Sarah’s father was the guest speaker at First Baptist Church the day of the shooting.

“We are putting this together in honor of Sarah, who has lost half of her family,” the GoFundMe page reads.

John Holcombe, Sarah’s brother, sustained gunshot and shrapnel wounds in his legs but survived along with two of his children, according to the Daily Beast. John’s brother Marc, however, died along with his one-year-old daughter Noah.

The suspected gunman, 26-year-old Devin Kelley, shot Bryan first, hitting him in the back as Bryan approached the pulpit, in the beginning of what would become the deadliest mass shooting in Texas. Kelley killed members of three generations of the Holcombe family in the ensuing carnage before he was stopped by an unnamed, armed citizen.

Authorities found Kelley dead in his car after Johnnie Langendorff and the unnamed citizen pursued Kelley in a truck.
