The Women’s March thanked Hillary Clinton, a failed presidential candidate, for the Democrats winning in major elections in Virginia and New Jersey.
The organization praised Clinton for presumably helping Democratic candidates secure victories in the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial races in a Wednesday tweet.
“#ThankYouHillary for your leadership. Last night’s victory was possible because of the path you have paved (and continue to pave)” the group said.

Clinton did come forward to help raise money for Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, however, she wasn’t a prominent figure in campaigning for fellow Democrats in those states. Clinton has spent time promoting her new book, “What Happened,” that seeks to understand how she lost to President Donald Trump in the 2016 election.
