A cartoon about President Trump and his apparent affinity for conspiracy theories narrated by Jake Tapper was aired on CNN Sunday.
Tapper narrates, “It shouldn’t come as a surprise that President Trump recently dispatched his CIA chief to meet with a conspiracy theorist, when it comes to what happened with the DNC hacks, and whether the Russians were involved. He’s never shied away from tackling the toughest conspiracy theories.”
He added, “Now that he’s president, Mr. Trump no longer has to do all the hunting and fact finding on his own. He now has a full cabinet at his disposal.”
When a Trump quote about criminal illegal aliens was played, the cartoon displayed green martian-like aliens, and then implied that Dr. Ben Carson believed that aliens built the pyramids. However, Carson’s quote was deceptively presented in this video.
Carson’s actual quote did not endorse the idea that aliens built the pyramids, but instead expressed disagreement with the notion.
Tapper also quips, “Of course, there is one area the president is not so interested in examining further, the actual facts of foreign interference in the 2016 election.”
