I can’t say enough good things about this baby monitor. I had one of the first generation video monitors (different brand) 9 years ago with baby #1…it was bulky and the video image was grainy at best but at the time it was state of the art. I’m on baby #5 now and was in the market for a new one after my other one bit the dust and I found this one and oh my gosh…firstly, it’s a breeze to set up. Comes paired with the camera right out of the box, and it’s literally plug in and go. The handheld monitor has tons of options, including a zoom feature and you can even move the camera up, down, left, and right to pan the whole room! Amazing clarity at night and even better with a small amount of light. It can be paired with 3 other cameras and unlike the other baby monitor I had I don’t have to worry about someone hacking into it. What I really love is that it’s 2 way – when you’re across the whole house and baby wakes up, it’s nice to be able to reassure them that you’re on your way! I really love this camera and wish it was around a few babies ago.

10 years ago I had a video baby monitor that I thought was so amazing, even in black and white. Nowadays, it’s so much better though. I’ll soon be having a nephew to hang out with so I ordered this for my brother and his wife. It was super easy to set up, we messed with it a little even though the baby’s room isn’t ready yet. You can literally walk around with the monitor and the clarity is awesome! It’s full color, can zoom, you can move the camera, volume up and down, etc. The screen is a good size and its really gender neutral in style , even though it has blue on it. It looks really nice, plus you can link extra cameras to it if you want to add rooms. I would have loved this back when I had a little one. I’m in love with this video monitor from the clear picture quality to the lullaby options. Everything can be controlled by the video monitor. It works great during the daylight and just as well at night. If you want to record video you’ll need to purchase a card but it’s a neat option. Soooooo easy to set up, no wifi connecting, camera was already paired, so all hubby had to do was screw the camera base into the wall and attach the camera, plug it in, turn on the monitor and enjoy! I love that I can just plug in a card and have all of the video recordings forever. It’s so much fun to sit and watch my baby and talk to her through the monitor, I wish I had gotten this sooner!
