We’re a few days away from another weekend of college football, and that means it’s time for my game of the week.
There’s absolutely no doubt that the best game of the weekend is Wisconsin against Michigan. Wisconsin gets another ranked opponent, and a win here will absolutely shut up any haters who want to complain about their schedule.
Wisconsin is by far the better team on paper this year, and the Badgers defense is every meaning of the world elite. The running game is potent, the line play is impressive but the passing game is not really ever consistent. It still hasn’t stopped the Badgers from getting to 10-0.
The spread on this game is currently -7.5, which makes me a shade nervous. Jim Harbaugh is a good coach, and the Wolverines are loaded with athletes. This game is going to come to whether or not Wisconsin’s defense can impose its will like it did to Iowa. The Badgers must suffocate Michigan from the jump, and not let them get any breathing room.
I like the Badgers to win, but every second Harbaugh and company hang around late into the game represents a chance for colossal failure for Wisconsin.
