Stephen Colbert decided to welcome Donald Trump back to the United States with a friendly warning on Tuesday night after his nearly two-week trip to Asia.

“Welcome home @RealDonaldTrump! While you were gone we started actually punishing people for sexual harassment so, you know, heads up,” Colbert tweeted at the president.

Sexual misconduct has been a frequent topic of discussion in the news over the past month or so, particularly the cases that have been revealed around Hollywood in the wake of the bombshell reports that exposed Harvey Weinstein. However, it seems that Colbert is more focused on the allegations against Trump, which surfaced during his campaign for the presidency.

But it’s not clear what Colbert considers “actually punishing people,” because neither Weinstein nor Kevin Spacey have been arrested over the countless allegations against them.

Last week, Cobert’s fellow comedian Louis CK became the latest giant of the entertainment industry to be exposed for masturbating in front of multiple women. The comedian was scheduled to go on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” but cancelled his appearance on the show after the disturbing news broke on the same day.

The following day, Colbert joked about Louis CK’s response to the allegations on Twitter.

“Louis CK’s apology leaves a lot to be desired. For example I “desire” a time machine so I can go back and tell him not to masturbate in front of those women.”
