We had a really weak weekend of college football, but there’s still a few things to breakdown.

Here are my four biggest observations from week 12 of college football.

1) Wisconsin is the real deal.

The Badgers battled a tough Michigan team in the cold weather and just out worked and out lasted Jim Harbaugh and company. Jonathan Taylor was eventually able to find running room, the passing game came alive late in the game and Wisconsin’s defense was on fire. A showdown with Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game will be awesome.

2) The SEC’s cupcake weekend went well.

Auburn was able to beat UL-Monroe and Alabama crushed Mercer. I’m glad those two schools were able to survive their tough matchups this weekend. Really proving to the committee their strength of schedule.

3) Ohio State looks like they could upset Wisconsin.

Wisconsin will be ranked higher than OSU when they meet, but the Buckeyes could easily pull the upset. They’ve been on fire the past couple weeks. It’ll be interesting to see how the line is set for the Big Ten championship.

4) Bret Bielema’s fate is sealed.

Arkansas fell to 4-7 and 1-6 in the SEC Saturday after losing to Mississippi State. It’ll all be over soon for our boy Bret Bielema. It was fun while it lasted.
