CNN released a second advertisement in their “Facts First” series featuring a shiny red apple, and it’s equally as bad as the first.

This time, CNN talks about “distractions,” while showing a pair of chattering teeth sliding across the screen in front of the apple.

“This is an apple,” a voice says. “And this is a distraction.”

“But it will never change the fact that this is an apple,” it concludes.

The first version of the CNN ad shows the apple, while the voice explains that people will try to convince you that the apple is actually a banana. (RELATED: Twitter Mocks CNN For Awkward ‘Facts First’ Ad)

“This is an apple,” the video voiceover begins with soft piano music in the background. “Some people might try to tell you it’s a banana. They might scream ‘banana banana banana’ over and over and over again… You might even start to believe that this is a banana.”

“But it’s not,” CNN confirms. “This is an apple.”

The ad received a substantial amount of ridicule.
