A CNN panelist responded to the leaking of Rep. Joe Barton’s explicit photos Wednesday by saying, “hell hath no fury like a scorned woman in possession of a naked selfie.”

On an “Anderson Cooper 360” segment about Barton’s nude photos being leaked, conservative commentator Alice Stewart said, “It’s embarrassing. I think he handled it right to come out and say, look, you know, those are my pictures, I’m sorry, it was poor judgment, and he explained exactly the time frame that this happened while he was separated from his wife.”

“I think it was very important for him to also stress that this was in a consensual relationship with a mature woman, to do away with any kind of concerns that it may be with someone underage, and I don’t see this as disqualifying in any way, shape, or form. It’s not anywhere near the same realm as a lot of these other scandals that we’ve been talking about such as Roy Moore and Conyers,” Stewart added.

“Look, I think this is a note to many people out there, men and women included, hell hath no fury like a scorned women in possession of a naked selfie. So, note to self, go erase all those photos if you have any,” she added.
